World Protests is a study of key protest episodes and issues worldwide, beginning January 1, 2006. The data set populating the World Protests website comes from research undertaken in 2013, 2014 and 2020, which was supported by the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, Initiative for Policy Dialogue and the Global Social Justice program. In 2022, World Protests was published by Springer as a peer-reviewed book.
